Dracaena 'Song of India'
Dracaena 'Song of India'
Also known as the Pleomele or Song of India, the Dracaena Reflexa is a delightfully bright pop of color for any room! The bright green and neon yellow leaves grow in a dense clump, new growth bursts from the center and pushes its way up and out. These plants are not too fussy about light and water, just be sure to not overwater them!
Overwatering will lead to poor growth and a mushy center.
The Song of India will survive in low light, but it’ll really thrive with bright colors and thicker growth if it’s kept in a spot where it can get bright, indirect light year-round. Be aware though, you'll want to keep it away from the direct sunlight, this can burn the leaves. The medium Song of India comes in a 6” wide plastic grow pot, an excellent size for a desktop, a bright shelf, or a coffee table looking for a colorful addition. Dracaenas are considered toxic to animals – keep the leaves and sap out of reach of any curious pets.
